This is a progression from the 1st exercise in the video library, Optimal Breathing for the early Post Natal Phase #1. Taking the technique of breathing in through nose and out through pursed lips I now use the soft ball against my ribs as extra resistance training for my diaphragm. Do this 4-8 times each side and feel the softness of your breathe when complete and how efficient your ribcage in breathing feels. You can sit on a chair if you don't have a stability ball.
